WalaCard is an Arabic site that explains loyalty cards and does the arithmetic on them: what they are, how to choose a type, what they really cost, and how to build one. It comes from the Niqati team, and the cards we explain how to build are issued from the Niqati app. That relationship is printed in the footer of every page.
Why a separate site?
"What is a loyalty card and how many stamps should I pick" is a different question from "which product should I buy". The first needs explanation, arithmetic and neutral tables; the second needs a product page. Mixing them produces a page that answers neither well.
So WalaCard was built as the reference rather than the brochure: the tables here name the cases where paper still wins, the calculators give you your number even when it disappoints, and each card type is presented with what it does not suit alongside what it does.
Our relationship with Niqati
WalaCard comes from the Niqati team. Niqati is a Saudi platform that issues loyalty cards into Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. When you press "Create your loyalty card now" anywhere on this site you are heading to the Niqati app, and that is stated in every footer and on every button.
We say so plainly, because hiding it would be deceptive and because a reader deserves to know who wrote what they are reading. The content here holds whether or not you choose Niqati, and the calculators work on your numbers whichever platform you end up using.
How we write
- Every page opens with a direct answer in sixty words or fewer, before any preamble.
- Every number in a table can be recalculated from the figures shown beside it.
- Examples use real Gulf currencies with the correct number of decimal places.
- What we do not know we do not write, and what we estimate we label as an estimate.
